At Bekkevar Logging and Trucking Inc. (BLT), we specialize in meeting our customer’s goal for their land. BLT uses up to date high quality equipment, educated employees, and best forest practices. We specialize in timber harvesting and/or developing land to meet your objectives for your land.
There are multiple options pertaining to timber harvesting such as:
Selective logging: A forest practice that involves removing specific trees while not affecting other trees. This method is used to remove high quality poles, veneer, hazard trees, and/or esthetics.
Thinning: A forest practice that removes trees based on specific qualifications such as size, spacing, age, and/or species.
Regeneration harvest: The regeneration harvest method is an even-aged regeneration system that removes the entire over story the mature trees in one operation. Landowners may use either natural or artificial means to establish new trees. This method is designed to enhance the regeneration of a new even-aged community.
Road building: BLT has professional experience building roads of all nature anywhere from short driveways to miles of logging roads. We have experience installing road approaches, culverts, fish passages, end hauling, new construction, reconstruction, and abandonment.
Land Clearing: BLT can clear land for your development needs such as pasture land, arena, building space, reforestation or your own vision. Depending on your vision we have the capabilities to start by removing trees, pulling stumps, pilling slash debris either for chipping or burning, and/or leveling or moving material to its prime location.
With up to date equipment such as feller bunchers, processors, log loaders, skidders, rollers, graders, excavators, dozers, dump trucks, and log trucks we have the capabilities of meeting all your timber land/development needs big or small.
